Alexey Retinsky is creator of symphonic, chamber and electronic music, as well as music for theater, installation and performances.
Composition and electroacoustic composition studied in Music Academy Kiev (under Prof. I. Sherbakov) and in Zurich University of the Art (under Prof. Bruno Karrer and Prof. German Toro-Perez).
As a composer, he has participated in festivals and concerts throughout Europe and  Asia. His works are performed in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, France, Austria and USA.
In common with studio “Idee und Klang“ he created electroacoustic works for the National Museum in Zurich, Imperial War Museum in London, King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture in Saudi Arabia and others.
In addition to his work as a composer and musician he expresses himself in painting and film photography. Since 2014, he lives and works in Vienna.
